What happens while it is decided
The process from here
This application is with Westminster for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.
The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.
About full applications applications
How this application type works
A full application seeks permission for a complete, detailed proposal in one go: siting, design, access and landscaping are all fixed at this stage. It is the standard route for new buildings, conversions and changes of use. The statutory target is eight weeks for smaller schemes and thirteen weeks for major development, though complex cases often take longer by agreement.

Replacement garage door, in addition to new internal partitions within one of the garages to provide a fire evacuation route for the new MR Linac facility at 79-81 Harley Street. (Linked wth 24/03878/FULL)The new garage door has been designed to match the appearance of the existing roller garage door but will be side hinged and open outwards into the mews in accordance with fire regulations. The doors will only be opened for emergency evacuation purposes ??? there are existing single yellow lines along the mews which ensure safe egress. The existing (and proposed) doors are currently blue and will be painted in light grey to match and better harmonize with the rest of the mews. The proposal is considered far more appropriate than the previously consented scheme from 2005 (reference 05/02253/FULL and 05/02254/LBC). The proposal also includes for small new internal partitions (and lining) within the garage building to provide for a fire resistant route from existing services such as a gas meter and associated pipework as required by fire regulations ??? as seen on the submitted floor plan. The mews building itself is within the curtilage of 79-81 Harley Street but has no historic fabric or merit itself ??? this notwithstanding, no demolition is proposed, other than the replacement of one garage roller door.
