T1. Bay Tree- Rear Garden: Fell in sections to ground level and treat the stump with eco-plugs to prevent regrowth. (No stump removal must be carried out before the 6 to 8 week period has elapsed, to ensure no root suckering occurs) The reason for removal is the proximity of the tree to the proposed development works (Permission Granted 24/04397/FULL) T2. Lime Tree Rear Garden: Reduce new growth to previous reduction points (approx. 3.5m height & 1.5m- 2m spread), retaining good growth furnishings for crown development. Thin branch structure if necessary to help create an even balance. Do not leave stumps or snags, or compromise the structural integrity of the knuckles by making cuts larger than necessary. Remove dead branches throughout the crown area that are over 2.5cm in diameter, and inspect the crown for any adversities. Remove epicormic shoots from the lower trunk to the crown break. Cyclical crown management.

However, the specified pruning is required to facilitate the implementation of the Permission, hence this Section 211 Notification. For the avoidance of doubt, according to the Delegated Report related to the Permission, the Arboricultural Officers were not a consultee. This Section 211 Notification is therefore submitted to regularise the required pruning to the affected 2no. trees in the only known manner that is feasible relative to the conditional elements of the Permission. The red line planning boundary is shown on all of the plans submitted to this Section 211 Notification; data related to both surveyed trees is also included in the submitted schedule (that uses the BS 5837:2012 methodology).
