Lords Cricket Ground St John's Wood Road London NW8 8QZ

2 lime trees located to the west of the Allen Stand and north of Lords Tavern, by the Grace Gate entrance from St John's Wood Road. These trees are noted as T7 and T8 on attached plans and reports. Roots belonging to both trees were severed during excavations for service trenches associated with construction of the Allen Stand on site. Static load tests were carried out to both trees in April 2026, which flagged T7 as having an insufficient safety factor. T7 was therefore recommended for a 3m reduction in height to reduce the risk of failure. Due to T7 and T8 forming a continuous canopy, T8 has also been recommended for the same specification of reduction to prevent exposing its crown to excessive wind loading.

T3 ? Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus), located in the rear garden of 208 Randolph Avenue, London W9 1PF. Proposed works: Fell T3 Sycamore to ground level and remove the resulting timber and arisings. The tree has been classified as Category U in the Arboricultural Implications Assessment (Report J69.34, dated 12 October 2026) prepared by Broad Oak Tree Consultants. The assessment identifies significant basal decay, a basal cavity, structural deterioration and crown dieback. The report recommends pollarding at approximately 8 metres or felling. Full removal is proposed due to the tree's poor structural condition and associated safety concerns.
