Proposal
013H - Silver Maple: A large limb split from the tree at the ground level and the exposed wood on the split limb and remaining stem shows extensive decay, the bark on the lower remaining stems is peeling and showing signs of bleed. The health of the upper crown is showing signs of decline. I would like to pollard the remaining stems down from their current height of 15-17 metres to around 4-5 metres; the width of the tree is around 15 metres wide. The hope is that we remove any further risk of splitting out stems and we remove the risk of stem failure to park users, and in time that we rejuvenate the tree and that it comes back healthy.
