    2 x Maple trees Two Maple Trees in Malhouse Paddock, Buckland. Maple Tree 1 - (see supporting docs) Larger of the two Maples. One main limb, overhanging adjacent property and boundary wall, is splitting from the main trunk. We have previously had the weight reduced but it has now reached the point of requiring removal. The tree was examined by Tim Stringer, Tree Officer Vale District Council, in August 2014 and it was concluded that the limb should be removed to try and save the remainder of the tree. This application is for the removal of the affected limb. Maple Tree 2 - (see supporting docs) Is now showing signs of limb spliting at the head of the trunk and has grown substantially. It is proposed to reduce the crown by up to 25% in a uniform fashion to retain the shape whilst reducing the weight of the crown. All works will be carried out by a qualified arborist - we normally use Westwood Tree Surgeons (A Craddock). Remarks:
