Land at Docks Office, Subway Road, Barry
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within five years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Discharge of Condition 3 (Details/Additional Details). Planning permission ref: 2022/00278/RG3 - Transport interchange to integrate bus and rail travel. The transport interchange will utilise the existing council ground level car park area to the east of the Docks offices, creating a circulatory route for buses and taxis, with a central landscaped area with seating, cycle stands and allowing for potential cycle hub / cafe unit and 'Next-bikes' in the future (this would be a separate planning application). The scheme will also have secure cycle lockers and future proof for electric vehicle charging of both buses and taxis. New bus shelters with interactive displays, and new LED lighting to current standards will also be installed
