About telecoms applications
How this application type works
Telecommunications applications cover masts, antennas and cabinets, most of which come forward as prior approval cases under permitted development rules. The council typically has 56 days to consider siting and appearance only. The need for the network itself is treated as established, so objections carry most weight where they address visual impact or siting.

Leylandii We have just purchased the property and this tree is at the front within our boundary. As can be seen from the photos, it is approximately 30 ft tall. It appears to have been left over the years with no or very little maintenance. Some of the lower branches are pushing the wall bordering the neighbouring property ( no. 6 ). We wish to lop the height of the tree by approximately one third and trim all branches to shape the tree. Also take off all dead branches and lower branches that are pushing against boundary wall to no. 6. This trimming will save the wall from collapse and improve the look of the tree and should prolong its lifespan. It would also be less likely to fall into either property in high winds.
