1 Uplands Croxley Green Rickmansworth Hertfordshire WD3 4RD
Identification of Trees: All identified trees are contained in the attached tree condition report and labelled T1 to T13. All of these trees, apart from T1, T12 and T13, are covered under TPO016 and ownership therefore differs: T1 is located on the pavement of Uplands and the ownership and responsibility lies with Hertfordshire County Council. T2 to T10 lie within the boundary of 1 Uplands and therefore ownership is with the homeowner. T11?s location is difficult to determine whether it lies within the boundary line of 1 Uplands or whether it is located on Copthorne Road. To note, Copthorne Road is not covered by TPO016 and is a private road owned by the residents. T12 and T13 are located on Chess Vale Rise which is also a private road owned by the residents and not covered by TPO016. Description of Works: Please note that a detailed description of the works is provided in the attached document named 'Tree Report' due to the character limit within this section. However, below is a brief overview of the works being requested in line with the tree condition report supplied by Abbots Arborcultural Advice that is attached: 1. Beech (T1) - Fell, but responsibility of Hertfordshire County Council 2. Beech (T2) - Maintenance work 3. Hawthorn (T3) - Fell 4. Beech (T4) - Maintenance work 5. Beech (T5) - Maintenance work 6. Orchard House Parrotts Close Croxley Green Rickmansworth Hertfordshire WD3 3JZ
- Apple Tree (#1): Felling the whole tree as it is now dead (no leaves last summer) and it is rotting at its base. A stick can be pushed through its roots. The tree is now a hazard and at risk of falling on the green house. Would not replant as the nearby laurels are growing fast. We will also re-use the space to allow the nearby strawberries & raspberries bushes to grow. A new cherry tree was planted 2 years ago as the apple tree started to show signs of decay. - Apple Tree (#2): Felling the whole tree as it is dying (3 out 5 branches are dead). We can see that it started to rot at its base (flaky white flesh can be removed). Our gardener confirmed the the tree will not recover and that it should be removed; they do not climb on it to prune the good branches as the tree is wobbly and unsafe. Would not replant as a flower bed is growing all around the tree. If replanting is mandatory, a pear tree would be planted somewhere else instead. - Apple Tree (#3): While the tree is still alive a few large holes in the branches are collecting water and dirt; this is resulting in the tree to rot slowly from the inside. Would be replaced by a new laurel since the tree is in the middle of the laurel hedge at the back of the property.

Fruit drops on walkways and creates health and safety issue for the disabled and elderly residents. T3 (T003 on map) - Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) - remove major deadwood.
