  T1 Beech - The tree is extremely close to the property, knowing that Fagus trees are predominantly shallow rooted and that the tree has a high canopy acting like a sail, there are worries that one day its possible the tree could uproot and damage the house. The tree has also been recently exposed to fire damage, although minor with no immediate threat, we request to fell this tree to make things safer in the future for the resident.

  T2 identified in the attached Arboricultural report is the tree that these works relate to. The Crown is in decline, major deadwood present throughout, lowest branch to Northeast has extensive wounding to upper side. We would like to remove the dead wood and carry out a Crown reduction of about 1.5m-2m to tidy up the tree, allow some natural light into Plot1 and ultimately to maintain the tree. The deadwood is a risk and from the report it is evident that the damage to the tree is terminal and could pose a risk in the future.

  TPO760 T50 Mature oak tree has died. We request permission to remove all branches to just leave the main trunk. Over recent years the tree has been progressively later to come into leaf and earlier to lose its' leaves than the adjacent mature oak. This year the tree has not produced any leaves at all. A local tree surgeon, Tom from T's Trees has inspected the tree and does not believe the tree trunk to be hollow. Photo2 shows damage around the trunk, which may be related to the tree's death. This damage was there when the current owners moved in.
