T1 - Ash to re-pollard. This tree has been pollarded multiple times, regrowth is around 3-4m so is due to be cut. Pollard points will be a weakness in this tree so if left the new growth risk failure will start to increase due to weakened unions. I estimate it to be 4-5 years since its last pollard so its due to be cut now to maintain pollard cycle.

I have spoken to a tree surgeon and he has suggested that we apply for pruning of approx 2m height and width, and the removal of vine that is wrapping around the trunks, so that the trees remain healthy Two trees (1 x Sycamore and 1 x Ash)- T225 and T226 that seem to have overgrown branches that need tidying. We have spoken to an arborist that has suggested a Crown reduction of approximately 2 x 2m for the overall health of the trees and to prevent awkward grown branches from falling.

T1: Reduce Poplar in rear garden by approx 5-6m all over to create a smaller, balanced crown and minimise the risk of failure at compressed union at base of tree. Reduction of the crown will lessen lever forces on the union as well as reduce the wind resistance created by the crown. The L/H limb is heavily weighted towards the public footpath and is long enough reach right across it .
