2 Yew trees at the rear of 133 Valley Road are adjacent to each other in the designated W1 area as per the TPO 744 diagram. The trees are approximately 4 to 5 metres high. Crown thinning by 25% - this for increasing the light falling on the back area. Light is limited due to the path of the sun during the year and the other large treess in the forest. The back lawn comprises primarily of moss due to the decrease in light available. Crown lifting to a height of no more than 2 metres. The bottom branches are impeding access to the rear garden.

Yew - T76 - front of the property. The height is approximately 5 metres. Crown thinning of 25% - the tree is currently blocking light into the house. Crown lifting of lower branches that are encroaching on neighbours driveway. Proposed that small branches below 2 metre height are removed. In discussion with neighbour at 135 Valley Road this will allow more light into their property and better access to parking.

T1 (TPO W1) - European Beech, Woodland edge Observations: Historically topped at 8m, significant regrowth resulting in candelabra branch network. Previously crown reduced, adequate regrowth; approx. 4m. Congested crown with multiple ?non-fused' crossing branches. Major deadwood throughout crown, approx. 5%. Recommendations: Crown thin by 15% (maximum). Crown reduction back to previous pruning points, approx. 3-4m. Reduce height, back to previous pruning points, approx. 5-6m. Reason: To reduce risk & improve light penetration to adjacent properties. T2 (TPO W1) - European Beech, Woodland edge Observations: Historically topped at 8m, significant regrowth resulting in candelabra branch network. Previously crown reduced, adequate regrowth; approx. 4m. Congested crown with multiple non-fused crossing branches. Major deadwood throughout crown, approx. 5%. Recommendations: Crown thin by 15% (maximum). Crown reduction back to previous pruning points, approx. 3-4m. Reason: To reduce risk & improve light penetration to adjacent properties.
