The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About advertising applications
How this application type works
Advertisement consent controls signs, hoardings and other adverts. The council may only judge two things: amenity, meaning the effect on the appearance of the building and area, and public safety, chiefly whether a sign distracts road users or obstructs sight lines. Other planning considerations, such as competition between businesses, do not apply.

I moved into 51 Beech Road late last year. The tree in my front garden is growing in between the phone lines and the roots are lifting the flag stones on the driveway making it dangerous to walk on. They are causing a trip hazard if me or my partner take out the recycling or want to access the car. Also, the branches are touching the house. I can see where the tree has been previously cut back to and would like to do that again. I have spoken with the neighbours who have informed me it hasn't been touched for a few years so really needs cutting back. I don't know what sort of tree it is. It's the only one in the garden. I would like to remove the holly tree at the bottom of my garden following several complaints from neighbouring propert.y owners whose properties are overlooked by the tree. The tree is approximately 10m high and has a crown of ~3m. HAR/ CA36

T1- Hornbeam- Located behind the bin store is a mature tree with good vigour. A crown lift of 6m for clearance into the bin store and surrounding area. This will also help light and airflow in the area to help keep rodents at bay. T2- London Plane- Fell- A semi mature multi stemmed tree with poor form growing over the neighbouring property and towards the driveway. Once the tree matures it will pose a risk of failure due to its growth and formation. Felling this tree will help the other trees around it grow with less competition. HAR/CA33.
