Planning application

Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Removal of conifers at the front to be replaced by much more attractive small bushes and flowering plants providing an English Cottage Garden instead of the sterile conifers. This will provide a frontage that is better aligned to other front gardens on Ogden Road and will brighten up the road. Other existing trees will be preserved. Please see the attached document with photographs. HAR/CA34.

T1 Oak. Crown reduce by up to 2m selected, over extended branches using best practice, selecting adequate growth points in order to provide a better framework for growth and allow more light to penetrate into the garden. Some branches are trending towards and are close to the neighbouring building. T2 Horse Chestnut (market as Oak on the tpo map). Crown reduce using best practice, by up to 3m all around to stabilise the partially diseased limbs (Chestnut Bark Disease). HAR/CA34, TPO 117W.

Conifer approximately 10 metres tall is to be removed because it blocks too much light and is also wind damaged on higher branches. We will plant another tree either in the same spot or further at the back of the garden depending on advice from the tree surgeon we use. A second conifer approximately 6m tall we would like to reduce to 2 metres tall. Both are in the back garden at the rear of the property. HAR/CA34

Two Beech trees T36 and T37 in the plan. These Trees have been dead for a number of years and now pose a very significant risk to human life including my family and grand children. These dead trees need to be felled or all branches need to be removed. We are unable to replant new trees because these trees are within a few inches next to a brick wall, we can only replace them with normal garden plants. TPO 344W.
