Works: Trees
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
T1 Lilac - Delicately reduce the lateral spread of the tree by up to 0.5 metres to create a more rounded and balanced shape. Additionally, remove the lowest secondary limb resting on the roof back to the main stem to provide adequate clearance between the tree and the structure.

The council has decided this application; the published outcome sits in the record above and the decision notice on the council portal carries the detail, including any conditions.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.

Cherry Tree - T1 Proposed works to Cherry Tree (T1) comprise a selective crown reduction and pruning operation to remove overhanging branches extending beyond the site boundary. The works are intended to improve clearance, reduce excessive encroachment over neighbouring property/areas, and maintain the tree in a safe and manageable condition while preserving its overall health, natural form, and visual amenity value. All pruning works will be undertaken in accordance with current arboricultural best practice, with cuts made to appropriate growth points to minimise stress to the tree and encourage healthy regrowth.
