Proposal

Description of Proposed Works T1 - Poplar Tree (Large Mature) & Willow Tree A large mature poplar tree is leaning significantly over neighbouring land, accompanied by an adjacent willow tree. - Remove limb 1 back to source - Remove limb 2 back to the growth point (as indicated in supporting photographs) Reason for Work: To reduce end weight and mitigate risk of failure over neighbouring property. T2 - Birch Tree Location reference: syndicate.curl.stupidly - Tree exhibits a longitudinal split with visible fungal brackets present - Proposed works: Remove tree down to ground level Reason for Work: Structural instability and evidence of decay significantly increase the likelihood of failure. T3 - Birch Tree Location reference: swear.openly.cabinets - Tree has a pronounced lean over neighbouring property, directly above a swimming pool used by children - Noticeable brown staining present along the rear of the main stem, indicating potential internal dysfunction or decay - Proposed works: Remove tree down to ground level Reason for Work: Safety concerns due to lean, target area (children), and signs of physiological decline. T4 - Birch Tree Location reference: deprives.kingdom.flask - Tree has a pronounced lean over neighbouring property, directly above a swimming pool used by children - Proposed works: Remove tree down to ground level Reason for Work: Safety concerns due to lean and high-risk target beneath. Additional Information All works are proposed in the interest of public safety and to prevent potential damage to neighbouring property. The trees identified for removal exhibit structural defects, decay indicators, or poor form that significantly increase the risk of failure.

T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T2 - Tulip Tree - Reduce by approximately 3 metres to restore balance within the crown due to previous limb failure leaving the tree unbalanced. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. • P26/S4354/TPO Granted

    Henley College Deanfield Avenue Henley-on-thames RG9 1UH

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
