8a Castle Street, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 8DL
T1 - Common Lime - Fell the existing tree which is located adjacent to the brick entrance pier where root growth and trunk pressure is causing displacement and structural movement to the pier, which is now leaning precariously and at risk of collapse. Works to include: 1.Carefully dismantling and felling the tree in sections to avoid further damage to the entrance structure and surrounding area. 2. Removal of the trunk, branches, and all arisings from the site. 3. Cutting back and grinding out accessible roots that may be contributing to movement of the brick pier. All works to be carried out by a competent and suitably qualified tree contractor. Due to proximity of the existing tree it is not proposed to replant a tree in the same location. A replacement tree will instead be planted Castle Gardens in a suitable location.
