Proposal
The Silver Birch tree in our garden has grown considerably during the last 10 years. It is now very large causing a great deal of shade to our garden. The tree is very close to the boundary with Sonning Common primary school and that with our neighbours at 8 Red House Drive. As can be seen from the enclosed photographs, the birch tree now towers over the school buildings. During strong winds, which are becoming more frequent, a number of small branches are blown from the tree, our concern is that larger branches may cause damage to school buildings or to our own house. We would like to employ a qualified person to reduce the tree's top growth back to where it was when the TPO was put on and to trim the lower branches. (approximately 9m to be taken off of the height and rounding off the sides to create a rounded shape). We will contact Mr Hirst the headmaster of SC primary school to discuss a suitable date for the work to be done.
