Making sure that there is adequate wood and buds for Apple production in the next fruiting year and prune back the face similarly to restructure for apple production. T6 - Apple tree in the lawn to reduce the side growth by 500-750mm and reduce the upper canopy down to the main branch structure again leaving small lengths of old wood and buds to product Apples in the next growing season.
