2 x Silver Birch In order to reduce excessive shading to communal garden, evenly reduce canopy on 2 number Silver Birch trees (shown in red and blue on attached sketch plan) by 3 metres to maintain as a more compact specimen. All cuts to be made at junctions leaving sufficient live growth to maintain and enhance the growth. Remove dead wood and damaged branches. Raise crown by 1.5-2 metres reducing branch tips only. Mountain Ash Mountain Ash - this tree is now encroaching on my house. It has been pollarded twice but this just makes it grow even more vigorously. It has completely outgrown my very small front garden. In fact the tree is now taller than my house and the roots are just touching the front wall of my house. It has grown far too big for such a small garden and needs to be felled. In the summer the tree also cuts out a lot of light in my and my neighbours garden. I have consulted David Cottrell of Tom Cottrell Landscapes and he agrees that the tree has completely outgrown my garden and needs to be felled. Remarks:
