T2 Tag. 402 - Lawson Cypress - Remove partially failed limbs on sub-dominant stem. Reduce height of remaining sub-dominant stem by at least c.2m. Reduce height of dominant stem by at least c.3m to reduce sail area and compressive stress on weak unions. Reasons for the works: The works to this tree were highlighted on a recent Tree Risk Management Report at the property.

T7 - Horse Chestnut T8 - Norway Spruce G5 - Norway Spruce T13 & G4A - Norway Spruce G4B - Sycamore T7 - Horse Chestnut - fell. Tree has low vigour - small leaves and early leaf cast. History of limb loss - most recent remains in situ. This has left the primary limb on south side with a considerable split and weakened, jeopardising the rest of this side of the tree and further storm damage likely. A major cavity in the trunk further limits the tree's structural integrity. I do not regard the tree worthy of a TPO and early felling would allow hedge along frontage to develop and new trees to be established. T8 - Norway Spruce - fell. Permission has been given to fell Leyland Cypress (G1) to immediate west of this tree as part of a planning permission. The majority of the west section of the canopy is suppressed and completely dead. A Norway Spruce in the conservation area of a village in the heart of the Chilterns has very questionable amenity value and one with such poor form has even less visual amenity. Tree is not worthy of a TPO and should be felled to allow planting of more approriate species. G5 - Norway Spruce - fell. Some trees near the road are dead or dying with others with low vigour. Spruce are not native and are out of keeping and with minimal intrinsic amenity value to a Chiltern village conservation area. T13 & G4A - Norway Spruce & G4B - Sycamore - same explanation as above re. Norway Spruce. G4B is part of hedge with was allowed to grow at an angle over footpath at head height, restricting access.
