About householder applications
How this application type works
Householder applications cover work to an existing house and its garden: extensions, loft and garage conversions, porches, outbuildings and similar alterations within the boundary of the home. They cannot be used to create a separate dwelling or change what the building is used for. Councils aim to decide them within eight weeks, and immediate neighbours are usually notified and given a chance to comment.

T1 and T4- Common Alder T2 and T3- Crack Willow. T1 Common Alder- Tree has shown heavy decline in recent months. Fell to ground to allow room for adjacent alder showing more vigour to benefit. T2 Crack Willow- Multi stemmed over mature specimen prone to storm damage. Due to proximity to adjacent parking and entrance way. Reduce by 3-4m to decrease likelihood of failure. T3 Crack Willow- Multi stemmed over mature speciment. Compressed forks developing at base and at risk of wind blow. Due to proximity to adjacent office and entrance way. Reccomend reducing to a height of 1.5m, in keeping with Willows managed further down stream. T4 Common Alder- Specimen heavily suppresed by adjacent Willows showing pronounced lean towards building. Inspection of base shows evidence of bleeding due to either phytophra or armillaria. Little scope for suitable reduction, recommend removal due to poor growth and potential issues with furture health of tree. Remarks:

T1 Cherry - Reduce the height and spread of the tree extending into the garden by up to 2 metres. Additionally, carry out a crown lift by removing or reducing secondary branch tips to achieve approximately 3 metres clearance over the garden. T2 Box Elder - Reduce the height and spread of the tree by up to 1.5 metres. These works will predominantly focus on reducing overextended growth back to the line of the crown. T3 Beech - electively reduce the four lowest limbs extending into the garden by up to 1 metre. Reason for Works: The proposed works are routine tree maintenance. The trees are now well established within a densely planted garden, and the reduction works are intended to provide each tree with adequate space to develop, promoting a balanced and harmonious relationship between specimens.
