Proposal
Re Lime tree protected by TPO:- report from Keen Consultants: this Lime is in falling distance of the dwelling and th road junction. Between ground level and circa 2m above ground level the two main stems coalesce. The union between the two stems is tight and includes bark. It is not strongly formed and arboricultural knowledge informs us that these poor unions are highly susceptible to failure. Given its location, and the knowledge of likely failure, we wish to remove the tree Removal of the tree will provide space for the adjoining trees to flourish. The retained trees will continue to be prominent in the streetscene. Amenity provided by trees in this garden will not be materially diminished by the loss of this one defective tree. A replacement tree can be incorporated within the garden in a location where it can develop without compromising existing trees or resulting in a poor relationship with the dwelling. G1 4 Limes (2 Silver Birch - felled and replaced with 1 Swedish Whitebeam) Spec: S15 Fell tree to ground level. Spec: S20 Supply and plant replacemnt tree, in the same location.
