Proposal
1 x Beech - the tree now is more exposed on account of general physiological change, i.e. trees being felled to the north and south to facilitate housing. The tree underwent a canopy reduction approx 6 years ago by Heritage Tree Services Ltd with good advantageous growth response. This tree shows some light inclusion at the southern element of bifurcation and a general lean (stem bias) to the east. I suggest that the regrowth is lightly thinned (branch ends only) by 15%. In order to help mitigate the tight fork bifurcation issues, reduce 1 x stem to the east that overhangs house number 18 should be reduced by 2.0m, carefully shaping back into overall canopy form to leave an attractive flowing canopy outline. A large trench is apparent west of tree and correct tree protection fencing was not in place. This excavation may be within the RPA area as defined by BS5837 so an urgent investigation is recommended to ensure the stability of the tree is not being compromised by nearby development. G1 Group consisting of 41 Beech, 16 Holly, 3 Oak and 2 Rowan trees.
