Proposal
T2 - Red Horse Chestnut - lift foliage from the lateral branch overhanging the road/driveway to Martins (on the east side of the tree) to a height of 6-7m above ground level by removing branch tips only and pruning back to suitable secondary branches. All pruning cuts to be made at branch junctions leaving sufficient live growth to maintain crown form. Reason: to relieve the oppressiveness felt by the occupier of Martins, who looks out onto this tree from their living room. The foliage from this one branch hangs down and blocks light to this property. T3 - False Acacia - fell to ground level. This tree is at the end of its safe natural life expectancy. There is significant decay under the root plate with little sound wood to sustain the above ground parts of the tree. The tree has suffered historical root severance and damage from construction adjacent to it. The crown is sparse and showing signs of stress. The tree is a potential hazard as it has a poor structural condition.
