Works: Trees

Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.

Proposal

T1 - Weeping Ash Tree Weeping Ash Tree in front garden has significant rot in one limb of its support and we have been advised it needs to be reduced in height by about 50% in order to be safe and no run the risk of collapsing into main road. The side branch of the tree will then need to also be reduced in size in order not to look out of place. Remarks:

About trees applications

How this application type works

Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
