    Sonning Mill, Eye and Dunsden

    1. Remove major deadwood and storm damage from Sequoia dendron giganteum. 2. Install 2 lightning conductors into Sequoia dentron giganteum and Sequoia sempervirens. 3. Remove dead Willow. 4. Reduce lateral branches on a Willow leaning over river to reduce weight on an old circa 1970s cable trace. Tree work and lightning conductors to be installed using arborbolt system and by trained persons/company Ringrose Trees. It has not been possible to determine if there are any individual TPOs at this property or if 71H50 covers all of them. I am a little concerned about the weight on the cable brace, the dead willow is now shedding branches. The site has been struck by lightning 2 times recently. We would like to prevent another strike proving fatal to these trees. A1 The several trees of whatever species standing in the area numbered A1 on the map. Spec: S3 T1 Remove deadwood. Spec: S5 T1 Remove storm damage Spec: S15 T3 Fell tree to ground level. Spec: S19 T4 All pruning cuts must be made at bra Spec: S20 Recommendto plant x1 Willow 10-12 cm Reason: R4 To address potential hazard

    28 Vicarage Road Henley-on-thames RG9 1HJ

T1: Birch: Twin stemmed Birch with a crown break a couple of feet above ground level. This tree has had cobra bracing installed and has previously had a crown reduction undertaken due to the applicants concerns over its safety with its close proximity to their own and neighbouring properties and the high volume of pedestrians who walk past the house particularly during the school pick up and drop off timings. The applicant wishes to reduce the height of the tree by 4 metres, to a point just above the previous pruning points and the lateral branches by up to 1 metre. T2, T3 and T4: Birch: Applicant wishes to carry out a 2m crown reduction of all 3 trees. These trees were planted by the applicant on the basis that they would be maintained as small trees owing to the size of space in this area of the garden and the proximity of buildings.

  • P26/S3994/TCA Decided

    7 Vicarage Road Henley-on-thames RG9 1HF

There are two trees in the front garden Permission is requested to fell both trees. Tree 1 = Weeping Birch Tree Tree 2 = Maple Tree Weeping Birch (Tree 1) This has become too large for the site, the roots are lifting the paving around it, making it a trip hazard. Roots have also entered the nearby drains, causing problems. Permission is sought to fell the tree, to make safe access to the property and to make space on the driveway for off street parking. (There is a nearby primary school, and parking can be a challenge.) Maple (Tree 2) This tree has also become too big for its location, which is very close to the boundary of No. 5 and No. 7 Vicarage Rd, causing lifting of the paving around it. It is also very close to both houses. Permission is sought to fell this tree.
