Grey House, High Street, Beckley, Oxford, OX3 9UU
T1 - Willow tree T1 - Willow tree adjacent to stream at bottom of rear garden. This tree has lost 2 significant branches in the last 2.5 years, both during periods of strong winds. In both cases additional damage to other branches was caused. Our Tree Surgeon (Lloyd Berry-Jones - Lloyd's Tree Services) has recommended a 5 to 6 metre reduction to over extended lateral branches to reduce the wind stress factor and hopefully avoid the loss of further branches. T1: Birch: Twin stemmed Birch with a crown break a couple of feet above ground level. This tree has had cobra bracing installed and has previously had a crown reduction undertaken due to the applicants concerns over its safety with its close proximity to their own and neighbouring properties and the high volume of pedestrians who walk past the house particularly during the school pick up and drop off timings. The applicant wishes to reduce the height of the tree by 4 metres, to a point just above the previous pruning points and the lateral branches by up to 1 metre. T2, T3 and T4: Birch: Applicant wishes to carry out a 2m crown reduction of all 3 trees. These trees were planted by the applicant on the basis that they would be maintained as small trees owing to the size of space in this area of the garden and the proximity of buildings.

P26/S3994/TCA Decided
7 Vicarage Road Henley-on-thames RG9 1HF
There are two trees in the front garden Permission is requested to fell both trees. Tree 1 = Weeping Birch Tree Tree 2 = Maple Tree Weeping Birch (Tree 1) This has become too large for the site, the roots are lifting the paving around it, making it a trip hazard. Roots have also entered the nearby drains, causing problems. Permission is sought to fell the tree, to make safe access to the property and to make space on the driveway for off street parking. (There is a nearby primary school, and parking can be a challenge.) Maple (Tree 2) This tree has also become too big for its location, which is very close to the boundary of No. 5 and No. 7 Vicarage Rd, causing lifting of the paving around it. It is also very close to both houses. Permission is sought to fell this tree.
