T1 - Willow tree T1 - Willow tree adjacent to stream at bottom of rear garden. This tree has lost 2 significant branches in the last 2.5 years, both during periods of strong winds. In both cases additional damage to other branches was caused. Our Tree Surgeon (Lloyd Berry-Jones - Lloyd's Tree Services) has recommended a 5 to 6 metre reduction to over extended lateral branches to reduce the wind stress factor and hopefully avoid the loss of further branches. Two x Conifers. Removal of two conifers at rear of property (exact species unknown). The trees to be removed are numbers 1 and 2 on the attached sketch plan. These conifers are not of particular interest in themselves, and they are very close to a healthy ash tree (marked number 3 on the sketch plan), which we would like to encourage as much as possible. Furthermore, the conifers are very close to the boundary fence, and are starting to damage it. Finally, the conifers in question are at the south end of the garden and produce excessive shade.
