T1 - Willow tree T1 - Willow tree adjacent to stream at bottom of rear garden. This tree has lost 2 significant branches in the last 2.5 years, both during periods of strong winds. In both cases additional damage to other branches was caused. Our Tree Surgeon (Lloyd Berry-Jones - Lloyd's Tree Services) has recommended a 5 to 6 metre reduction to over extended lateral branches to reduce the wind stress factor and hopefully avoid the loss of further branches. Two x Conifers. Removal of two conifers at rear of property (exact species unknown). The trees to be removed are numbers 1 and 2 on the attached sketch plan. These conifers are not of particular interest in themselves, and they are very close to a healthy ash tree (marked number 3 on the sketch plan), which we would like to encourage as much as possible. Furthermore, the conifers are very close to the boundary fence, and are starting to damage it. Finally, the conifers in question are at the south end of the garden and produce excessive shade. T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T2 - Tulip Tree - Reduce by approximately 3 metres to restore balance within the crown due to previous limb failure leaving the tree unbalanced. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. T4 - To fell and remove 1 x Yew tree and install eco plugs to prevent re-growth.

T1 Copper Beech. Low canopy over road and footpath. To raise canopy to statutory clearances, (5.2m over road, 2.5m over footpath). To remove deadwood greater than 60mm over road and footpath, for safety purposes, minimising any chance for larger falling deadwood in windy conditions.

  • P26/S4354/TPO Granted

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
