T1 - Beech T1 - Beech - thin crown by a maximum of 30% retaining an even density of foliage throughout a well spaced and balanced branch structure. Crown clean to remove deadwood, weak and crossing branches. Lift crown to a height of approximately 6m above ground level by removing branches back to source (less than 50mm diameter) where necessary and others by removing branch tips only. Prune back to suitable secondary branches to ensure a 2m clearance from Kimberley Cottage and a 1m clearance from overhead wires and the adjacent telegraph pole. Assess existing cable bracing to ensure tension is correct and replace where necessary. All pruning cuts will be made at branch junctions and sufficient live growth to maintain crown form will be left. Reason: To ensure continued and future compatibility with the site, surrounds and usage as the tree is very close to two buildings. Remarks:

T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. T4 - To fell and remove 1 x Yew tree and install eco plugs to prevent re-growth.

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
