Branches straggling over into neighbours garden & dropping too many unwanted apples.

-
P26/S0317/TCA Decided
Britwell House, Section of B4009 between Turners Green And Grove Lane, Britwell Salome, OX49 5LJ
T1 Silver Maple - Fell to ground level. T2 Poplar - Fell to ground level. T3 Sycamore - Fell to ground level. T4 Silver Maple - Fell to ground level. T5 Cherry - Fell to ground level. T6 Silver Maple - Fell to ground level. T7 Field Maple - Selective crown reduction - Reduce the one large, over-extended limb by up to 3.5 metres. Reduce the remaining growth extending over the fences by up to 1.5 metres, and remove all deadwood from the crown. Reasons for Works: T1 & T6: Both trees have decay pockets at the base with multiple entry points. There is evidence that these have coalesced, compromising the structural integrity of the trees and rendering them unsuitable for retention. T2: There is evidence of suspected Sesia apiformis, consistent with the numerous exit holes around the base of the tree. In addition, there appears to be browsing damage around the majority of the basal area. As a result, decay has developed at the base of the tree, making it unsuitable for retention. T3: The tree is in a terminal state of decline, having already shed approximately half of its upper crown. There are a number of unidentified fungal brackets present within the upper canopy; however, due to their location they cannot be clearly identified. Given the tree's condition and the presence of a regularly used garden path beneath, the tree is no longer suitable for retention. T5: Historic basal failure has led to the onset of decay, and retention of the tree is no longer practical. T7: The tree has historic limb failure with a large decay pocket extending down the stem. The proposed works are to reduce end weight and minimise the risk of further failure and potential damage to the horse stable below.

These also need removing. No replanting is envisaged as there is sufficient tree coverage with a wide age range of species within said property.

Magnolia tree on the property boundary with Church Street at the address no 26. Tree crown reduction.
-
P26/S0285/TCA Decided
Marigold Cottage, High Street, South Moreton, OX11 9AD
The tree is a large twin-stemmed cherry tree which is now visibly dead. Both stems are co-dominant, with visible signs of unidentified bracket fungus and stress burs. Due to the tree's condition, it poses a significant risk, particularly as there is a greenhouse and a neighboring house directly beneath the canopy. It needs to be felled as soon as possible.
