1. Scots pine - fell to ground. 2. Hemlock trees, 2 adjacent - fell to ground. Trees 1&2 work proposed to reduce competition for light and nutrients with the young avenue trees, to preserve this feature. The 3 trees account for the 5 cubic meters of saleable timber we are permitted to remove per quarter. 3. 5 Yew trees to be pollarded to around 9 ft (2.7m) to prevent overshadowing avenue trees and other understory trees and plants. 4. 9 Yew trees to be pollarded to around 9 ft (2.7m) to prevent overshadowing avenue trees and other understory trees and plants. 5. Common lime - fell to ground. Due to the nature of the underground water services, the close proximity to the gas tank, and undermining of the garden wall as the tree has grown.
