Proposal
G2 - 1x Clump of Hazel - Re-coppice to a height of approximately 1.0 metre above ground level to allow the coppice stools to regenerate and produce new, vigorous stems. G4 - 2x Cherry (Prunus sp. 'Cherry'), 3x Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) & 5x Pittosporum (Pittosporum sp.) - Crown lift over boat storage area & shipping containers by removing secondary and sub-lateral branch growth only, to provide a vertical clearance of approximately 5 metres between ground level and the lowest foliage tips, thereby achieving the desired clearance of 2.0 metres from the shipping containers. All works shall retain the natural form of the crown and avoid the creation of large pruning wounds. T1 - 1x Goat willow - Re-coppice to a height of approximately 1 metre above ground level to allow the coppice stools to regenerate and produce new, vigorous stems. T1291 - 1x Wild cherry - Reduce the height of the tree by approximately 3 metres, leaving a final overall height of approximately 6 metres removing annual re-growth only - The tree has previously been reduced, and the reduction is to manage new regrowth to reduce likelihood of failure of new growth and to manage the tree into the long term from the previous pruning points now that a regime has been initiated T3 - 1x Red oak - Dismantle, fell & remove to ground level, wood chippings to be spread neatly over the bank area as a mulch, tree not suitable for position

What a grant of permission means
The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
