Planning application
1 Hillman Close Lewes East Sussex BN7 2FA
Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
Prune the south-eastern lateral growth of all trees facing 1 Hillman Close to provide 2.5m clearance of the property. Raise the lower south-eastern branches of all trees to provide 2m clearance above the carport and 3m clearance of the driveway as appropriate. At the south-western end of the screen, prune back the low branches that are beginning to obstruct the pavement and to maintain clear access.

T1- Holly: Reduce in height by 2m to prevent further growth into Ash, tree and maintain the tree at a suitable size for the garden. T2- Holly: Fell to ground level. The tree has become too large for the garden given the number of other trees in close proximity, and has made the corner of the garden very crowded. It also has some dieback in the canopy. T3- Laurel: Permission to reduce in height by 3-4m and width by 1-2m so as to maintain at an appropriate size for it's species before it becomes too big for it's surroundings.
