Proposal
Oak & Norway Maple Tree - combined crown reduction and crown thinning operation, removing no more than 25-30% of the total canopy volume. Reduce outer over-extended branch lengths by up to 2.5 metres, cutting back to appropriate, viable growth points. This will leave a final estimated tree height of 9 metres and a radial crown spread of 7 metres.Simultaneously thin the remaining inner canopy by 10-15% by removing small-diameter (under 50mm), crossing, rubbing, weak, or duplicated internal branches. Reason for Work: To manage the overall size and wind-sail risk of the canopy, improve structural integrity, and alleviate heavy shading . All pruning cuts will be made just outside the branch collar to prevent tearing and promote natural wound sealing.
