Proposal
T1 - Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) - Sympathetic crown reduction of approximately 2m.generally reducing towards the previous pruning points whilst retaining suitable lateral growth beyond the historic pruning points where practicable. Reason - This tree has previously undergone a substantial crown reduction. Inspection has identified weak unions within the subsequent regrowth. A sympathetic crown reduction is therefore recommended to reduce wind loading and the sail effect of the canopy, mitigating the risk of branch failure.
