Reason - This tree has previously undergone a substantial crown reduction. Inspection has identified weak unions within the subsequent regrowth. A sympathetic crown reduction is therefore recommended to reduce wind loading and the sail effect of the canopy, mitigating the risk of branch failure.

This self set tree appear to be in good health but is beginning to encroach on roof of No.24 next door. The neighbours have expressed concern on more than one occasion and both party's wish for a reduction of the tree. The tree is also very leggy and tall do to historic management.
