Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1: Holm Oak - We propose an approximate 2 meter sympathetic crown reduction to the northern crown only where necessary, with all cuts made to suitable growth points wherever practicable. The aim of this work is to sympathetically reduce the crown back from the adjacent driveway to suitable growth points, and to mitigate the deposit of leaf litter and pollen onto the parking area to the north of the tree. Removal of one (1) lower phototropic limb that is currently encroaching over the driveway.

T1 - Mature Sycamore - This tree is in good health. However it is very large and in close proximity to the neighbors property. In a recent set of high winds several large bows came down, one narrowly missing a car and another smashing the neighbors fence. Obviously concern has been raised. I propose a 2.5m sympathetic crown reduction to growth points, with an aim to reduce weight and sail and make safe. Removal of deadwood and cutting away from the telephone lines. Work to be carried out in mid winter.
