1 Maple tree height: between 40 - 50 ft tall. Circumference - 1.10 metres, 4.85 metres from the back of the kitchen. We would like to remove the tree entirely as it is blocking out light from the kitchen. We had advice from a tree surgeon 3 years ago, when we were concerned about its height, asking if there was anything we could do and were told that it should not grow any higher....sadly it has! We intend replacing the tree but perhaps not in the same spot. I have grown some seedlings from the tree and intend planting them in the garden. This should be quite easy to do as we have plenty of space further away from the house.
