Proposal
Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for works comprising: Earthworks relating to: Railway embankment (Beechwood Embankments) including engineering earthworks, landscape earthworks and retaining walls; a network of maintenance access strips; the realignment of Kenilworth Greenway; the realignment of an existing watercourse; construction of four drainage ditches; 2m cascades and three balancing ponds. Structures comprising retaining wingwalls serving Carol Green Rail Underbridge and drainage wingwalls and three culverts with wingwalls: Lanscombe Culvert at 54.5m in length; Truggist Culvert at 43.5m in length; and Beechwood Culvert at 114.1m in length; handrails (approximately 1.08m in height) above the culvert; and noise barriers between 2m - 4m in height (from top of rail). Security Fencing (1.8m in height) and boundary fencing (1.4m in height). Pedestrian access to the railway line: maintenance access staircase.
