Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 Wellingtonia tree (Sequoiadendron giganteum) - The tree is in a healthy state and no signs of disease or fungi. There are several highly dangerous torn off limbs hanging within the canopy of the tree. Remove all deadwood from within the canopy of the tree and any heavily torn limbs. Some torn limbs can be kept but require a weight reduction. Completing the above work will reduce the risk of any limbs falling out of the tree hitting any cars, property or the public. T2 Copper beech tree (Fagus silvatica purpurea) - The tree is in a healthy state and no signs of disease or fungi. Uplift the canopy by 1.5metres and thin by 20%. This will allow more light into the garden. T3 Leylandii tree - The tree is in a healthy state and no signs of disease or fungi. Uplift the canopy by 1.5 metres This will allow more light into the garden. T4 Yew tree (Taxus baccata) - The tree is in a healthy state and no signs of disease or fungi. Reduce height to the same as the rear hedge line, by 2 metres to stop it competing as much with the beech tree. This will allow more light into the beech tree (T2).
