Proposal

T160 Norway Maple crown lift to 5m above ground level, Thin out by no more than 10% of the crown volume by removing crossing, broken or weak branches. Remove all deadwood. To improve the light levels to the area below, reduce the side laterals from rubbing on adjacent trees, shrubs and hedges and to protect the pupils form falling deadwood (minor). The Nursery are keen to improve light levels into the area below that is play surface during the winter months and reduce the risk of moss growth etc, but also to keep the highly valued shade during the summer. A balanced approach to the works is sort.
