53 Woodham Park Road Addlestone Surrey KT15 3TN
Proposal
T1- Silver Birch located in the rear of the property in a Southerly direction. The client proposes a reduction of 3m as part of the trees ongoing management to ensure it doesn't outgrow its position. It is currently 14m high and 4m wide and will be approximately 11m high and 2m wide following the proposed works. T2- Sycamore, 3 Birch & 4 Oak are a cluster of trees loaded at the rear boundary again in a southerly direction. They overhang 49 Woodham Park Roads building and the client would like them cut back by 1m to reduce the squirrels entering the roof of the property. They are currently 8.5m high and 4m wide and will remain 8.5m high and become 3m following the proposed works.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.

Pine - Fell & Remove - to ground level, or as close as possible and remove all arisings. Reasons for work as follows: Safety - angle of tree encroaching fencing and house, shedding pine cones etc are sharp ground hazards for children when in garden Space / lighting - the shedding needles etc are preventing grass or anything else from growing in our garden. Would ideally like to plant other tree(s) in the space which are more in keeping with the other trees in the space.

8 Lodge Close Englefield Green Surrey TW20 0JF
T1 - Birch - fell and stump grind - tree in very poor condition: A large basal cavity extending well into the buttress/root flare. Advanced decay with soft, crumbly wood, likely white rot. Strong callus growth around the wound, showing the tree has been trying to compartmentalise the defect for a while. Epicormic shoots emerging from the base, which can be a stress response. As such the tree is now a likely risk for basal failure. Tree will be replaced with another Birch
