T1 Cherry, tree has section of rot in main stem at union of upper crown,(approx 2m h.) several branches from this union are laterals at 5-7m in length. The crown is over a busy path,(local nursery school at Church house). Tree is in decline, rather than remove I propose to prune back the main structural branches by 2.5-3.5m to retain the tree but reduce the risk of collapse. Crown spread is between 5-7m at present, and 7m height.

T7 Cedar, cut to 5m for carving, see attached report for full details, tree has suffered repeated failure of large branches, the resulting crown has poor form, predominantly long, end weighted branches that have no suitable points to prune back to to be able to reduce risk of further breakout. T6 Large Cedar, tree has poor structural form after repeatedly breaking-out over the last 8-10 years, wounding from branch tear-outs exacerbate this issue, tree is within a high target area used by churchgoers, maintenance volunteers and children from the nearby nursery. Cut to a high stump (approx. 5m) to be used for chainsaw carving or habitat. See report for full details. Report also contains the site plan to aid identification of the individual trees.

T1 Cedar, remove lower limb on S.E. Side of crown, limb has historical wounding most likely from previous failure in crown. Has been cut back to neaten wound but has not been able to occlude wound and has subsequently rotted-out internally from the top so not visible from the ground. Photos provided show damage and also limb in question is pictured with climbers left foot resting upon it.

Wellingtonia T1,tip prune and 20% crown thin, as appropriate to reduce the chance of breakout, remove dead, hanging and damaged branches. Tree has been exposed to increased forces of wind due to recent removal of neighbouring Conifer, this combined with strong winds has caused breakage of branches which have in turn broken deadwood throughout the crown. Although no property damage has occurred so far the crown of T1 extends over the roof of No.261 to the N.E.
