The Applicant is seeking to vary the wording of this condition to reflect the use of 5l/s run-off rates for the site on the drainage scheme. Accordingly, the condition wording is proposed to be varied as follows (changes shown in highlighted): Condition 8 The development permitted by this planning permission shall be carried out in accordance with the approved Flood Risk Assessment and the following mitigation measures detailed within the FRA: - Infiltration testing in line with BRE365. If infiltration is found to be unviable, the run-off rates from the Site should be limited to 1 5L/s. - Provide attenuation storage (including locations on a layout plan) for all storm events up to and including the 1:100 year storm event inclusive of climate change.

The Views of the Council are Therefore Sought in the Relation to the Following Proposal. EDF Energy Networks (EPN) Plc Proposed to Replace 5 Towers, as Indicated, on the Existing High Voltage (132,000v) Overhead Line and Indicated in Red on the Attached Plan Number GEN-OH-000014/1 Issue D, in th Parish of Rayleigh in the District Council of Rochford. It is for these Works that Application is Made.EDF Enery Networks (EPN) Plc propose to Replace Part of the Existing High Voltage (132,000v) Overhead Line Network with Underground Cables as Shown by Continuous Red Lines on Attached Plan. This Will Require that 5 Replacement Towers are Built Where Indicated. The Existing Overhead Lines and Over 20 Supporting Towers Coloured Green on the Plan will then be Removed. It Should be Noted that, Due to Limitations on Working on These Circuits, the Works will be Spread Over a Period of 4 Years.
