The proposed works involve reducing the unworked half of the canopy by up to 2 metres to match the previously reduced side, removing any dead, dying, or crossing branches, and lightly reshaping to maintain a natural form. These works are intended to restore canopy balance, reduce end-weight on the main boughs, and improve overall structural stability to ensure the tree’s long-term safe retention within the garden setting.
