Proposal
Rear T1 Tree of Heaven x 1 (Ailanthus altissima) From the Arb report dated 29 May 2026: T01 is a semi mature tree of heaven, see Images 1 and 2 in Appendix III. It has a stem diameter of 29 cm and is around 12 m with a crown spread of around 3 m, 2 m, 6 m, and 2 m to the four cardinal points. It has a twisted and contorted trunk, see Images 1 and 2. It is growing between to the building either side of the alleyway and entrance, see Image 3. It is growing against and in conflict with the walls on either side, see Images 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. It is also in conflict with the roofs of 1 Artichoke Walk and 13 Geroge Street, on either side, see Images 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.There is a black stain running down the side of the wall of 1 Artichoke Walk with some superficial cracking on the outside at the base, see Image 9.On a safety-first basis it is considered appropriate for you to remove this tree to remove the current conflict with the buildings. On that basis the tree of heaven 01 is recommended to be removed within the next 6 months to prevent any future direct or indirect damage to the adjacent properties. It is also recommended that the stump either poisoned or ground out. Suggested work:- fell to ground level using advanced rigging techniques - poison stump to prevent regrowth
