Granted Richmond upon Thames PA26/2051 Works to Trees Under TPO

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T28 Silver Birch - remove dead wood and reduce canopy to suitable growth points to leave finished height of 10m. Tree is infected with Fomitopsis Betulina and the canopy is dying back. T30 Silver Birch - reduce leader to 5m above main fork to leave a 7m tall tree. There is damage to the main leader at 5m from ground - reduce to remove damaged wood. T93 London Plane - re-pollard back to previous points to leave a finished height of 15m and finished spread of 12m. This work will maintain the size and shape of the tree as has been done with consent several times previously. T166 Amelanchier at front between nos. 40 & 41. Remove tree as it is nearly dead. There are no plans to replace the tree immediately as an ongoing planting programme is in hand.
