Planning application

Dysart Rise, fallen thorn tree hung up over public right of way

Granted Richmond upon Thames PA26/1229 Works to Tree/s in Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Thorn tree fallen over and leaning on adjacent oak tree over path (Dysart Rise). The tree is large (+ 30cm DBH) and tall (+10m) but I cannot comment on how wide it is as it is hung up and needs to come down. There are some adjacent thorn trees that should also be pollarded that are similarly very tall and at high risk of also failing.
