Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
I want to fell the Robinia Pseudoacacia at the end of my garden, next to the rear wall. It is 40-50 years and is leaning towards Alton Rd (directly behind my wall) where cars park. It also has developed fungus at the bottom of the main trunk. I already have a Ginkgo Biloba nearby, which I planted approx 20 years, and provides alternative habitat for birds and wildlife.

We would like to prune 2 trees on our property at 26 Sheen Park, Richmond, TW91UW. Firstly , labelled #1 on the sketch is a large Ash tree in our rear garden, then secondly , labelled #2 is a Golden Rain Tree in the front of our property. Both trees are large and need cutting back as they have not been pruned for some years. Update: For Tree 1 on the diagram ( Ash tree ) , there is a current height of 8m with a crown width of 5m. We propose to reduce the height by 2m and crown by 1m leaving a height of 6m and crown of 4m. For Tree 2 in the diagram ( Golden Rain Tree ), there is a current height of 7m but also a crown of 7m ( so it spreads over our neighbours driveway and over the street ). We propose to reduce the height by only 1m, but reduce the crown by 3m so that it doesnt spread everywhere. This will leave a 6m height and 4m crown.

We would like to remove the Ash tree in our garden. It obstructs light, sucks the moisture from the rest of the garden and is expensive to prune. We would like to totally remove the tree, it is situated at the bottom right hand corner of our garden ( when facing from the back of the house towards the rear fence bordering Alton Road. We do not plan to replace the tree, we already have other trees in the garden that will grow better without it, but would replace with srubs and a flower border.
